Who I am: I'm Emily, known as Emma. I'm also known as UniverseDreams here on DA and practically everywhere else online. (Sometimes my username on other sites will be accompanied by a 4, 7, or 47 respectively.) I'm 17 years old, live in southern California, have a kind, fun personality, and a lot of interests and dreams. I love having fun, fantasy, the universe and space, boys, music, the Goo Goo Dolls, Maui, summer, vacations, SeaWorld, the ocean, grand hotels, cities at night, jewels, nature, the color purple, holidays (especially Christmas, my birthday, and Halloween), being out in the cool night air, and hanging out with my friends and family. I hate being rushed/pressured, rushing, deadlines, politics, greed, destructive criticism, repeating myself, math, pizza, waiting, jerks, n00bs, flamers/trolls, cruelty, violence, wars, parodies, and Facebook. My main interest/hobbies are: writing, digital art, singing, dance, and photography.
As a writer: I am primarily a writer. Currently I enjoy writing a lot of fanfiction for my many different interests, as well as some original fiction. In the future, I want to become an author and write original fiction stories and publish them as books. My primary writing genres are adventure, action, and romance, though I write many other genres as well. My personal writing style is the 'third person, subjective' format with many of my own personal touches. I am the writer of five, major, novel-length fanfiction series; Phantom Evolutions (Danny Phantom), Protectors of Earth (Ben 10: Alien Force), Cybertronian Legacy (Transformers), Light of the Universe (Green Lantern), and Forces of Destiny (Star Wars), as well as many other fanfiction stories. For my full writer profile as well as my written material, visit my FF.net and FictionPress pages (links below).
As an artist: In addition to being a writer, I am also a digital artist. I believe I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate with my art skill, and I am always trying to learn and improve my technique (like with everything else I do). Music is a huge inspiration for my art, as well as everything I do and everything that happens around me. I am a hobbyist with my art for now, but I hope to pursue the field of art and design professionally in the future. I draw fanart for the shows and movies I like as well as for my fanfiction series, and I also do a fair amount of original art for other interests of mine. I use my own art style (I am not yet sure how to define or describe my art style) in all my artworks, with the exception of blending my style with some characteristics of a cartoon's own respective style in the case of fanart. I also wish to someday be able to create realistic-looking planetscapes and spacescapes like `priteeboy here on DA.

How I use this account: This account hosts all of my art-related media. My gallery here consists of mainly digital art, as well as my photography, and the occasional traditional art and crafts. My cosplay, modeling, art reference stock, and some other stuff will also be posted here in the future. I also post the occasional snippet of writing here, such as previews, promos, and showcase pieces, but my main written media is hosted elsewhere. All of my fanfiction is on Fanfiction.net. My general original fiction is posted to FictionPress. Exclusive and personal original fiction will be posted to my website or my LiveJournal. If you’re interested in my writing, check those out. Feel free to browse around my gallery here, and if you like, maybe take the time to fave and comment while you’re there.

(
I know that it may be a bit confusing for my watchers to have some many different media on this one account, but you can watch me for whatever media you like and ignore the rest. It is easier for me to manage and it also reflects me as a diverse individual.)
Guidelines on feedback: As an artist who is serious about her craft, I welcome feedback. While I especially appreciate a favorite + a thought-out comment on my artwork, I do not mind if you fav and leave a short, generic comment, or even fav and run. We are all busy, and sometimes it’s hard to word a lengthy reply. I also appreciate
positive, constructive criticism and critiques when desired. It tells me what I’m doing right in my art and also where I can improve and get better.
Negative, destructive criticism does not help me as an artist. As for flames/trolling/drama, there’s no place for it in a serious art community. Commenting how much you hate something whether it be one of my concepts, a story, an artwork, a character/OC, a person/celebrity, (or a show or movie I’m drawing for in the case of my fanart) is stupid, counterproductive, and tells me absolutely nothing about my work.
If you don’t like my artwork, stories, me, or what I have to say, just click the ‘back’ button on your browser rather than starting something. It’s that simple. Also, please thoroughly read the artist’s comments on my artwork before you comment. Yes, they can be notoriously long (especially concerning character profiles), but they contain relevant information about the artwork (such as details about how I created it and whether or not I desire critique on that particular artwork) and may answer/give you more information for any questions/thoughts/suggestions you may have.
