Time sure goes fast. As you've probably seen, I've been less active here with my art and writing and even my photos. I also didn't submit anything for Titanic's 101st anniversary. I've been taking care of some loose ends and preparing for the many upcoming projects I have for this summer. Here is the list of them that I'll be working on from now until the end of July 2013.Summer Projects:
My 18th birthday formal evening gown: Which is going to look awesome. It's based on one of my favorite dress designs from TheRoseDress.com and I'm making it myself from the ground up. It'll be a rich burgundy red with silver adornments and accessories. I've already finished making my own silver clutch purse. 
I still have to figure out hair and make-up and find a good pair of base-shoes to do some spicing up to, but all-in-all, I think I've got it covered. But it's going to take at least a month to make everything and get it all together, so I need to be really focused on these tasks. I hope to get a photo up of me in my dress once it's done! 
My 18th birthday video: It's kind of my 'senior project' so to speak, encompassing as many of my interests throughout the last 18 years as possible. With it being 7 minutes long and about 400+ different clips timed to perfection to the music, it's going to take many more hundreds of hours until this is complete. Another thing I have to focus intently on in order to get it done on time, since I've already logged about 200-300 hours over the course of three years trying to figure out the way I want it. -__- 
Artworks for my birthday: I have three or four artworks planned, including a gift for a special friend who happens to share the same birthday as me. 
Stories for my birthday: Like the artworks, there are three or four of these planned. Two are personal and won't be posted, but the other two will be if they are written. 
I also have many other things to attend to besides these projects that come with transitioning to a different phase of life, so long-story-short, I will be VERY BUSY in these next few months!
I'm very excited, 
but the amount of work is also rather...alarming. 
I may have time to get a few more projects in during these months (as well as post photos of other sewing and cosplay projects I've completed in the last month), but the rest of my current projects have to come to a halt for now. Once all these summer projects are complete, I will be able to resume my current projects come August. (In which I'll be able to finish and post the stories and sketches that I've been jotting down throughout the year to work on later. I'm looking forward to it! 
) Right now, I'll take some advice from my beloved anime Kaleido Star and keep positive and motivated to tackle these challenges head-on!
